Synopsis
Rise of the Dragon est un jeu d'aventure futuriste à la première personne. Les graphismes du jeu rappellent ceux d'une bande dessinée, avec des photos numérisées des acteurs et des arrière-plans peints à la main. Contrairement à la plupart des autres jeux d'aventure de l'époque, il repose moins sur des énigmes d'inventaire que sur des choix spécifiques faits par le joueur. Le jeu dispose d'une horloge interne et demande au joueur de planifier les déplacements du protagoniste à l'avance afin d'être au bon endroit au bon moment. Les dialogues à choix multiples sont utilisés comme un outil de jeu ; un mauvais choix entraîne souvent la fin prématurée de l'aventure.
