Mutant League Hockey
Synopsis
Mutant League Hockey is a brutal hockey game that belongs to the same series as Mutant League Football. It features 23 crazy teams consisting of zombies, skeletons, trolls and robots. The arenas are just as bizarre, with traps such as bottomless pits, mines under the ice, spikes and a "demon web" that swallows the puck as a goalie. The gameplay is similar to regular hockey, but players can use weapons such as chainsaws and axes. Opponents explode into slime or circuitry if they are too badly injured. The game also includes combat sequences, special plays such as exploding pucks, and allows attacks on the goalie. It features multiplayer modes, playoffs, player statistics and instant replays. An unreleased Amiga version from 1994 was unofficially released in 2015.
