Synopsis
En tant que jeune légionnaire romain en 275 av. J.-C., votre mission consiste à conquérir le monde connu par la force ou la diplomatie, en combattant sur terre et sur mer. Vous commencez avec une province, Rome, et une légion. Pour terminer le jeu, vous devez conquérir toutes les provinces de la carte.
Une partie du jeu consiste à micro-gérer vos provinces. Vous fixez les taux d'imposition et vous rendez les gens heureux en organisant des jeux. À Rome, vous pouvez organiser une course de chars, un combat de gladiateurs ou même une simulation de bataille navale.
Une autre partie du jeu est la conquête militaire. Vous pouvez lever des légions ou les renforcer dans n'importe quelle province que vous contrôlez. Il existe trois types de légions, chacune ayant une force différente. Vous pouvez également déplacer une légion dans une province voisine.
